"“Family law is personal. I’m here to make it easier.” — Anna Nash"

You can do hard things. This phrase, while short, is an easy thing to forget. It is something that I remind myself of daily from a sticker placed on the inside of my laptop. The difficulties that arise within the intricacies of family law, are hard, but something that every person can get through. These hard things can be made easier with a knowledgeable attorney and team by your side who understands what you are going through. I never dreamt that I would be an attorney. The idea was always hindered by the infamous Bar Exam and outside voices questioning if I was up for the challenge. I was and I still am up for all hard things that life throws my way. Divorce is a word with a negative connotation, yet it is also a beautiful fresh start to your life. I want to be a part of helping people start their new chapter and change the way people perceive family law. While I did not decide to attend law school until mid-way through my junior year at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!), I was always drawn to family law. I am passionate about families learning how to co-parent and work together, advocating for you and your needs, keeping your children out of court, and helping you live the life you deserve. I attended Elon University School of Law where I completed my Juris Doctor. During my time there I was fortunate enough to be an Advocacy Fellow, where I took course work geared in advocacy and met with distinguished attorneys and Judges who demonstrated the importance of affective advocacy in practice. I was also an Academic Fellow where I tutored first year students in courses they were struggling in. Additionally, I have had experiences to learn how to navigate family law cases through Alternative Dispute Resolution but also
