Born and raised in upstate New York, I discovered my passion for track and field early in life. Training as a competitive hurdler taught me more than physical strength—it shaped how I approach challenges, both on and off the track. As a hurdler, every race required laser focus, strategic execution, and the ability to respond swiftly to unexpected challenges without losing stride. This drive for excellence led me to the University of Rhode Island, where I earned a degree in business and served as team captain of the track and field team during my senior year.
