Life can be messy. Even the most carefully planned paths can take unexpected turns, and sometimes we find ourselves facing situations we never imagined navigating. I chose to pursue law because I want to help people through those moments—when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or simply harder than expected.

As a first-generation college and law student, pursuing this path required determination, resilience, and the support of mentors who believed in me along the way. I completed my undergraduate studies at UNC Charlotte where I solidified my desire to practice law. After graduation, I attended Elon University School of Law, where I discovered my passion for family law and began focusing on how to guide individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments.

During law school, I had the opportunity to intern with Safe Alliance, a nonprofit organization that provides hope and support to individuals and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence. While at Elon Law I also served on the Pro Bono Board and led the Lawyers for Literacy initiative, which partnered with local schools to support and read with young students. Working with these programs reinforced my belief that people navigating difficult and deeply personal circumstances deserve not only strong legal advocacy but also compassion and understanding.

In my practice, I strive to be a tenacious and reliable resource for clients during life’s turbulent moments. Because life can be complicated, I believe clients deserve a judgment-free space where they feel comfortable sharing their experiences. I focus on listening first, understanding each client’s unique situation second, and only then providing thoughtful guidance so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and staying active, especially swimming!
