As a middle child of five, raised by my resilient single mother after her divorce, I developed a profound desire to help others from a young age. As I grew up, I witnessed the tough emotional toll that divorce took on my family and others in my community. These experiences sparked a passion in me to support people in finding healing and stability in their lives. That’s what led me down the path of Family Law, where I hope to make a positive impact on those facing their own struggles. I aim to be a source of guidance for my clients and their families as they navigate the sometimes complicated legal process. My approach centers on putting my clients first, ensuring their needs are fully met, and making their experience as smooth and supportive as possible—especially for the children involved. Upon completing my bachelor’s degree in psychology, I came to law school determined to prioritize the emotional well-being of my clients. Through caring guidance and open communication, I strive to create an environment where everyone feels heard and supported during such a challenging time. I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Claflin University, one of the nation’s top ten historically Black colleges and universities. I later completed my Juris Doctor at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where I participated in the Children’s Law Concentration Program and held leadership roles as the Southern Region Vice Chair of the Black Law Student Association and Vice President of the Family Law Society. As a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic, I successfully secured an order of protection for one client and initiated a U-Visa application for another. My dedication throughout law school was recognized with the Children’s Law Concentration Distinguished Student Award and the I.M. Goldberg South Carolina Bar Foundation Scholarship, and I am excited
