Front Desk Administrative Assistant - Raleigh office

Sodoma Law is a law firm with 7 offices across North Carolina and South Carolina. Over the years, our practice areas have expanded to include trusts and estates, adoption, mediation, immigration, and more; however, our main area of practice continues to be family law.

We are seeking a Billingual Front Desk Administrative Assistant for our Raleigh, NC office to support the day-to-day operations of the firm by overseeing office functions, welcoming clients and guests, managing incoming calls, maintaining inventory and restocking supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff, and coordinating with external vendors. This role is also responsible for opening and closing the office, assisting with client intake, and providing direct support to the Office Manager.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and demonstrating a proactive, customer service-minded approach with a strong sense of urgency. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and smooth daily operations of the office while creating a welcoming and professional environment for both staff and visitors

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Welcome clients and guests professionally, manage incoming calls, and facilitate client intake, scheduling, and communication.
  • Oversee daily office operations, including opening/closing procedures and supporting attorneys and staff with administrative needs.
  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces while managing office supplies, inventory, equipment, and cleaning coordination.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs, quotes, and facility-related services to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, conduct inspections, and address security and facility concerns promptly.
  • Support office projects, system implementations, and administrative tasks as assigned by Office Manager/Practice Leader.

Qualifications:

  • Spanish fluency required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License& Vehicle Insurance
  • 2+ year in customer service or related experience
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills specifically in high stress and emotional situations.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while showing empathy to all clients.

  • Active member in their community (Wake County is a plus)
