My twin sister passed away in May of 2013. She was a single mother of three. Her death was a complete shock, and I agreed to let my nieces and nephew go on vacation with my cousin, her husband, and their two children while I made arrangements. My cousin, her husband, and their attorney filed a false complaint with the North Carolina court stating that the children were abandoned, leaving no one to care for them. Consequently, they were awarded temporary custody. Robin was the fourth lawyer I hired. Our case was extremely difficult, although it should not have been.
